I'm Lauren, the person behind Coolum Admin Collective.
I've spent much of my career supporting senior leaders, busy teams and complex environments.
My background spans executive support, legal and governance, business operations and project environments, working alongside senior executives and leadership teams and supporting work where discretion, judgement and attention to detail matter.
I've also worked deep in the practical side of business - documentation, financial administration, reporting, registers, meetings, processes and the systems that keep everything running behind the scenes.
That combination means I'm comfortable moving between the bigger picture and the detail.
I can understand where you're trying to get to while also noticing the things along the way that need attention.
HOW I WORK
I work best with people who are capable, engaged and know their business.
You don't need someone to come in and take over.
You need someone who can understand how you work, identify where additional structure or support would help and take genuine ownership of their part.
I'll ask questions. I'll make suggestions. I'll challenge a process if there's a simpler way to do it. I'll take things off your plate when they don't need your involvement and bring them back when they do.
And if something is waiting on you, I'll make sure it doesn't quietly disappear from view.
The aim is a working relationship where responsibilities are clear, information is visible and we both know what needs to happen next.
Structure, without overcomplicating it.
I'm naturally drawn to structure, but I don't believe every problem needs another system, spreadsheet or meeting.
Sometimes the answer is simply a clearer process.
A better way to capture actions.
A regular rhythm for the things that matter.
One place for information instead of five.
Or someone making sure the agreed next step actually happens.
I prefer practical solutions that make sense to the people who need to use them.
Because a process isn't particularly useful if it only makes sense to the person who created it.
Support that grows with you.
